Marcus and the Mummies Exhibit

On Monday, Marcus and I went to see a special Mummies exhibit downtown. Marcus took a class last year on Ancient Egypt at a Christian co-op, so he really wanted to go to this event. It was a special time for the two of us. He amazed me as we went around looking at different Egyptian artifacts. He was telling me about them before I had a chance to read about them from the little signs underneath. I was quite impressed!

We had fun exploring the rest of the museum. Marcus made his own short video.

Santa Monica March Trip

Josh was asked to do revival at his dad's church, 
so we were blessed with the opportunity to 
go to Santa Monica for a week.

We were so happy to be able to see the newest addition 
to the Scribner family...Adam and Bekah had a baby girl 
two days before we arrived. It was wonderful to be 
able to go over to their house 
and hold Magnolia Jane! She is so beautiful!

Another very exciting thing was that I was so blessed & 
privileged to go to my sister, Susan's, doctor appointment
...the one where they find out if her baby is a boy or girl...

We were so thrilled we went shopping and spoiled this little one already!

Marcus was able to go with some people from our church to a major Christian concert event downtown about a week ago. He was able to 

meet Tedashii (famous Christian rapper)

there and get his picture with him!

Marcus is now one of the few people to help with the 

sound board at church. He is super excited to do it.

Josh and I are so proud of him desiring to be in ministry.

 On the car ride home, Marcus and I were talking about his new 

job at church and Allie asked a question. 

She asked, "What's my important job at church?"

 I replied, "What do you think?" 

She said, "To not run in the church!"

"Yes, Allie, that's your very important job!"
