Farewell Utah

The kids and my last service at our church in Utah.
It was very sad and emotional. Rob, Marcus, Allie and I all shared. I admire my kids for partnering with us for the last ten years in building the church in Utah. We couldn't have done it without them.
Allie performed a song she wrote and there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
I love and admire her creativity and courage.

Fourth of July!

We spent our last Fourth of July in Utah with our good friends, the Browns. They went all out with an amazing BBQ, basketball in the backyard and the most incredible fireworks show (as always) in their front yard.

Visit from Grandma Debbie

Grandma Debbie is so amazing! She flew out on Monday night and had most of our house packed in 3 days and got stuff ready for a huge garage sale. I couldn't have done ANY of this packing without her! I'm pretty sure she was super motivated to help me pack...with us moving back home and all!

Tucson Conference 2015

A huge decision was made on Friday night of conference (30 min before the last service) that we were going to return back to our home church to assist our dad, Pastor Rob, in his church. It is a bittersweet decision to leave all the wonderful people and family in our church in Utah and return home to our mother church, family and friends. The kids cried (Rob and Allie especially) for a long time when we told them that night.
I'm thankful that God is in control and that He directs our steps. We are trusting Him with our future!
