Music to Their Ears

The kids LOVE to listen to these Bible verse cds. They beg me to put the Bible cds on while we are driving in the car. I've heard that kids learn stuff the best when it's to music or song, and it is so true! The kids have learned so many Bible verses through these Steve Green cds. I'm so glad I found them!

Family Reunion/Vacation-Take 5

Josh & Dan began the day golfing again. When they were finished I was so happy to babysit Paige so that Dan & Susan could go on a bike ride together. During that time Josh helped the kids surf. Dan & Susan were actually able to go see the kids surf for a bit while they were on their bike ride. I couldn't have been happier taking care of sweet Paige!

In the afternoon, Josh and the kids went with Grandpa on one last bike ride for the week. 

Afterwards we all headed to the harbor for a guided boat cruise...

Then off to the carousel and arcade...

Couldn't believe how fast the week went by! 

It was so much fun & we're all very grateful 

for the chance to be together.

It definitely was a great time had by all!

Family Reunion/Vacation-Take 4

Golf, Tennis, Surfing & Dodger Game...

Josh started off the day golfing with Dan
and I took the kids with Grandpa to the City College
tennis courts to hit tennis balls.

Then, Josh and I took the kids to rent surfboards & wetsuits.
It was so special to Josh to be able to teach the kids how to surf.
We got to the beach and Allie led the pack, fearlessly heading for the waves...

After all the surfing fun, we went to a Dodger Game in Los Angeles

First a family photo session at the beach ...

 then the girls went off for a day of shopping
& lunch while the guys watched the kids :)

Josh had fun with the kids while I was shopping away...

Then off to the Dallas Cowboys training camp that was nearby!

Family Reunion/Vacation-Take 2

Guys fishing trip-thoughts on the day from Josh...
Guys' fishing trip was awesome... woke up at 2:45 to be there by 4 because I was so excited. We all caught a lot of fish between Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands. Dan caught the fish of the day. I got anointed by a bird that pooped on my face. Guess that's why I was so pooped out

While the guys were out fishing, the girls hung out at the park at the beach while the kids played together. Then Jessy and I took our kids for an afternoon swim at the pool.
Josh & I had the family cook night and he grilled up some of the fish they caught that day.
