Allie turned eight this year! I can't believe how fast she is growing up! She is such a beautiful little girl inside and out. I love her spunk, her laughter, her smile, her enthusiasm, her passion for justice and righteousness, her love for her family, our animals and others. She is a blessing from God. I am so thankful that God blessed us with such a wonderful daughter as Allie.
This year Daddy said she could get her ears pierced. It was going to be when she was 16, but I was able to negotiate with him to age 8 (when I got my ears pierced).
So, on her birthday after school we all went as a family to Claire's for the big event.
She was a little nervous and the boys were nervous for her.
I loved helping her pick out the perfect earrings. She was so cute as she sat there and got them done.
Afterwards, Josh let her pick out three new pairs of earrings.
It was such a special time and I'm glad we were all together as a family for it.

Getting to see her new earrings
After we got home from Claire's we had a family dinner to celebrate.
I asked Allie what she wanted to eat for her birthday dinner and she said spaghetti and meatballs.
So, that's what we had.
Then, it was time to open presents!
Her own sewing box!
She loves horses!
Rob really wanted to get her these cute little earrings that look like our small dog Mac.
So sweet!
Her first jewelry box!
Time to sing Happy Birthday and eat some cake and ice cream
