Holiday Lights, Reindeer & Cocoa

This year we took our kids to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights. It is something that I've always wanted to do since we've lived here. Thanksgiving Point is such an amazing place and we've enjoyed many different events, museums and just plain fun here throughout the year.
We sat nice and warm in our car listening to Christmas music on the radio as we drove around.
I love special Christmas experiences!

After we drove through the lights display there was a series of beautiful pictures with scriptures telling about the birth of Jesus. Then there was this nativity scene at the end. I really appreciate the true meaning of Christmas being displayed for everyone to see and remember.
It's the reason for the season!

Then, we went and visited a couple reindeer!!

And enjoyed some hot chocolate by the outdoor fire pit

And then even some ice cream!

Allie's second grade story

Allie's second grade class performed their story at chapel on the last day of school before Christmas break. The book the class acted out and shared was The Pine Tree Parable. It is such a cute story.
Allie did a great job!
